Studio attendance:
- Pilates Evolved require new clients to attend a 1:1 assessment to introduce the basics of Pilates effectively and to discuss any health conditions or injuries.
- The classes you are taught, and the choice of exercises are based upon our sound teaching experiencing, and the information you have provided about yourself when completing our Client Registration Form. When exercising, you must follow the instructions of the teacher at all times.
- You must inform us about any change in your medical condition as soon as you become aware of it.
- If during a class you experience pain, breathlessness or other discomfort you must stop immediately and notify your teacher.
- In the best interests of our clients and, accordingly to good professional practice, we will recommend you seek the advice of a medical professional when we feel it appropriate. We reserve the right of final decision over whether any client may attend a class.
- Mobile phones should be switched off for the duration of your session.
- Timely arrival to classes is essential for proper warm up and consideration for other clients. Arrival of later than five minutes to class will result in entry being refused. Class credits are forfeited in this instance.
Cancellation policy- group classes & privates:
All group classes and private lessons must be cancelled with 24 hours prior notice, otherwise they will be charged in full. Cancellations can be made via Bsport online booking system, or via email to info@pilatesevolved.co.uk. If you are cancelling a group class or private lesson within 24 hours of attendance, your credit will expire and has no monetary value.
Group classes – class swaps may be taken (and are encouraged!) provided that 24 hours notice of a missed class has been given. Your credit can be used for a class swap within the current calendar month, or by the end of the subsequent month. After this, your credit will expire and has no monetary value. Class swaps can be booked via Bsport, our online booking system, or by emailing info@pilatesevolved.co.uk.
Privates – private sessions may be rescheduled with 24 hours prior cancellation notice of a missed session, within the 3 month time restriction of your pass. For example, a pass purchased on the 1st January has credits which are valid to use until 31st March. After this date, your credit will expire and has no monetary value. Private sessions can be rescheduled by email, to info@pilatesevolved.co.uk.
Offering flexible catch ups – we are a small studio and we pride ourselves on the diverse range of offering that are available to our clients. If you can’t make a group class or private session with us, you are welcome to use this for an alternative class, or private session within the window that your credits are valid and with prior notice. Group class credits can be put towards a private 1:1 session to be taken within a 2 month period, and a missed private session can be put towards classes. Access to our Pilates on Demand video library can also be given in exchange for credits. Please ask us for more information.
Refunds/transfers – Credits for classes or private sessions may not be transferred to another person. The studio does not issue refunds for any of its services. However, in exceptional circumstances due to injury or illness we will consider extending the expiration date of class credits or private sessions, on a case by case basis.
Studio subscriptions
- Studio subscriptions are monthly rolling memberships with auto payment setup. These give you access to 4 x STUDIO GOLD or 8 x STUDIO VIP group classes at the studio each month (attending once, or twice per week)
- Using a studio subscription gives you a ‘recurrent booking’ in a regular class with us on the same day, at the same time each week (except for occasional class swaps). This gives studio subscribers priority booking, with a place reserved and guaranteed automatically in your chosen class, 8 weeks in advance. Access to the Pilates on Demand video library is not included unless you upgrade to the STUDIO GOLD/STUDIO VIP PLUS subscription for an additional £12 monthly.
- PLEASE NOTE: 4 classes per rolling month may not be the same as one class every week. Some months of the year may have more than 4 weeks, in which case you are welcome to book and pay for an additional class in order to extend your quota for that month. We will contact you to organise this. In the case of bank holidays, or cancellation due to teachers’ holiday/sickness, the studio will contact you to organise a reduction of your monthly payment accordingly.
- CLASS SWAPS/CANCELLATIONS: with at least 24 hours’ notice qualify for a class swap, which can be taken within your current payment month, OR by the end of the subsequent month. After this time, your credits will expire and have no monetary value. Late cancellations of less than 24 hours before a class or appointment will be forfeited. Persistent late cancellations or no-shows may mean you lose your ability to have a ‘recurrent booking’ in on our classes.
- FREEZING SUBSCRIPTIONS: Subscriptions can be frozen for one payment month within a 12-month period for sickness, extended holiday, injury or any other personal reasons OR use your subscription fee towards 1:1 sessions where appropriate. Please ask us by email for information. Subscriptions can only be frozen with one month’s written email notice.
- CANCELLING YOUR SUBSCRIPTION: if you wish to terminate your subscription, you will need to do so in writing, by email, with one month’s full notice. For example, if you cancel on the 8th March, your subscription will continue until the 8th of April and you will be charged for any classes within this time period (if this is not a full month your bill will be modified accordingly) Should we be able to fill your place from the waiting list within this time frame, exceptions will be offered.
